Our neighbours
Our neighbouring towns and villages are amongst the prettiest places on Earth. As well Polperro and Looe, the inland towns of Bodmin and Liskeard both lie within a short drive and boast a wide range of shops and supermarkets. And there are lots of lovely seaside and riverside villages within easy reach too:

Buses
- Travel Cornwall Route 481 (Monday-Friday) – connects Polperro to Looe, Polruan and Lansallos.
- Travel Cornwall Route 482 (Wednesday only) – connects Polperro to Polruan, Pelynt, Lostwithiel and Bodmin.
- Go Cornwall Route 72 – connects Polperro to Plymouth via via Looe, Tideford, Landrake and Saltash.
- Go Cornwall Route 73 – connects Polperro to St Cleer via Pelynt, Looe, Widegates and Liskeard.

Trains
Looe mainline railway station is four miles away from Polperro and can be reached by bus. (See “Buses” section above.) The scenic Looe Valley Line runs between Looe and Liskeard (12 miles away), which provides connections with InterCity GWR train services to the rest of the national rail network
